The president of El Salvador has declared bitcoin “legal tender”, allowing it to be used as an official form of currency in the country. President Nayib Bukele is predicted to lead an influx of new countries adopting cryptocurrency with India set to follow with wide spread reports the country is "reportedly close to classifying bitcoin as an asset class".   Tanzania’s president has urged the country’s central bank to prepare for wider adoption of cryptocurrency around the world. President Samia Suluhu Hassan said the Bank of Tanzania should "be ready for changes and not caught underprepared" during a speech Sunday.
